Jax Benedict is so excited to be helping with Finding Nemo Jr. at Much Ado About Theatre! He has been doing theater for almost 9 years now, doing all different kinds of things! Some of his favorites have been acting in Night Chills as C. August Dupin and Flora at Kettle Run High School, and Newsies as Oscar Delancey/Mr. Jacobi and The Little Mermaid as Grimsby at Much Ado About Theatre, and directing Bad Auditions by Bad Actors and Night Chills at Kettle Run High School. He would like to thank his parents for driving him everywhere, and his friends for always supporting him, and Hannah, Tina, and the whole MAAT team for everything they do!

CHOREOGRAPHER
Carina Stinson
Carina is a Laurel Ridge Community Collage graduate and lead dance instructor at Bella Ballerina in Bristow, but her theater experience began in 2006 at Raskin's Dance Studio. There she first began learning dance including hip-hop, jazz and ballet, while also participating in musical theater intensives playing Shere Khan (Jungle Book) and The Wizard (The Wizard of Oz). Further pursuing dance, she studied at BalletNova where which she developed her ballet and pre-pointe techniques. She has since continued expanding her dance studying East Coast swing and ballroom styles, and is passionate about teaching ballet, jazz and tap to her young students. In recent years she has partnered with church and community theaters to write, direct and perform around Warrenton and Manassas areas. Respective roles for Fauquier Community Theatre include Betsy (The Gift of the Magi), and a featured dancer in Holiday Inn; for Much Ado About Theater as Miss Medda (Newsies), Mrs. Wormwood (Matilda). She has also choreographed for Kettle Run High School's showing of Shrek: The Musical and Beauty and the Beast. Carina hopes you enjoy this presentation of Finding Nemo Jr, and prays this show was a blessing for every audience. She extends a special thanks to her mother, to the cast and crew at MAAT, Michael and Michelle Rogers, and Pam Reckley for their encouragement through this production process. Psalm 144: 9-10
